What is a tennis bracelet?

A tennis bracelet, contrary to its name, is not a bracelet you necessarily wear when playing sports or tennis for that matter. However, that is what the tennis player, Chris Evert, did during a match at the US Open in 1987. The whole world found out when, during the match, she had to ask if it was possible to stop the game in the middle of the match because her diamond bracelet had fallen off. Of course, the special piece of jewelry had to be found.

Ever since, the bracelet has had a special connection to the sport and has simply stuck with it.

The locks on tennis bracelets have since become more stable and secure, so you don't lose the bracelet just like that. Whether you are active or not. It's also no longer just Chris Evert who wears a nice tennis bracelet when she plays. Tennis stars like Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova also do it often.

At Viclara we love both diamonds and gold, which is why we have naturally also collected some offers for valuable tennis bracelets from Mads Z. They consist of 14kt gold and brilliant-cut diamonds. These are bracelets that sparkle and sparkle as soon as they come around the wrist and into the light.

A bracelet for more than just tennis

It may well be that a tennis bracelet got its name after a match during the U.S. Open in 1987. But that doesn't make it a bracelet that you have to play tennis to wear. It is applicable for many occasions as it is the epitome of elegant, timeless and classic jewelry.

It's a piece of jewelry you can wear for the rest of your life. You can style it for many different outfits, depending on who you are and, not least, what you're into. You don't have to have an elegant and strict style, as you can easily style it for a more casual look as well as for a raw look with a black dress or a leather jacket.

Regardless of style and outfit, a tennis bracelet adds an exclusive look to it.

When you buy a tennis bracelet from Viclara, a diamond certificate is always included, so you can be sure of the authenticity of the diamonds and the bracelet.

How to take best care of your diamond jewellery

A tennis bracelet shines. But it will only last if you pay attention to maintaining it and take good care of it. The thing about diamonds is that they have a natural fat affinity, as it is called. More concretely, it means that grease easily sticks to diamonds.

A tennis bracelet should therefore be regularly cleaned so that the diamonds do not lose their shine. After all, that's exactly what's great about diamonds. So feel free to find a soft toothbrush and some sulfo and clean the bracelet once a month or more often if you use it several times a week.

If you want to avoid calcium deposits, you can also rinse the bracelet in demineralized water.

The lock also needs cleaning and lubrication every now and then. You can do this with advantage at your local jeweler or at Viclara, of course. We are also happy to help you clean your fine tennis bracelet if you need it and would like to have it professionally cleaned.

Also remember to take it off when you sleep, shower and do physical work. When not in use, a tennis bracelet is best kept in a jewelery box, where it is dark and protected from dirt and grime.

You are always welcome to contact us for more questions about the maintenance of a tennis bracelet.

Find a tennis bracelet in the right size

Whether you are looking for a gift for someone you care about or you are looking for something for yourself, you can find a tennis bracelet in different sizes. Wrists are not the same, which is why we have collected three different sizes. This should hopefully make it possible to find a tennis bracelet that fits your or her wrist.

Thus, they suit both you or her with a very narrow wrist as well as her who is blessed with one that is slightly larger.

Delivery takes place within a week when you order one bracelet with diamonds. It has a delivery time of 4-10 working days and is of course delivered in a beautiful and exclusive jewelery box that matches the bracelet. If it is a gift, we are of course also happy to wrap the bracelet so that you can make it a good and beautiful experience.

Combine the tennis bracelet with other jewellery

Can't get enough of beautiful and elegant jewelry? And don't you mind combining them to achieve just the right expression or look? If anything, a tennis bracelet can easily compete with the sun all by itself. But it is also very suitable as a piece of jewelery in combination with others.

Try e.g. to combine it with a Rock Classic bracelet from Ro Copenhagen, a beautiful diamond ring from Anpé Atelier or a beautiful necklace from Mads Z.

There are many ways to style and combine a tennis bracelet with other jewellery. How you do it is entirely up to you and your style and, not least, taste. The most important thing is that you treat yourself to jewelry that you want to wear and that compliments you and your style.
