Festina - 100 years of quality and passion
Clocks off Festina is quality at its best. The brand goes all the way back to 1902, when the Stüdi family in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland founded what is today an internationally recognized brand – albeit mainly with Japanese movements.
In 1935, businessman Willy Bickhard von Wilhelm took over the brand where he established Festina in Spain. The adventure for him did not last long, then Festina was once again acquired in 1975 by the contractor, Georges Uhlmann, who also passed the brand on to other hands in 1984.
Despite many changing hands have Festina managed to preserve its basic values, for which it is still recognized to this day. Because it clearly shines through that time is set aside for development, ideas and optimization – and that is precisely what has made the watch brand so well-respected at home and in the rest of the world.
