What is gold plated jewellery?
Gold-plated jewelery is neither or. Because there are two of them. By that we mean you get a bit of both worlds, as gold plated jewelery is made from sterling silver with a certain carat of gold plating.
These are pieces of jewelery that have, so to speak, been "dipped in gold" and therefore look confusingly similar gold jewelry.
